Apparently you have NEVER attended American schools. Not only is "US History" taught, so is "WORLD HISTORY". Don't try to preach that American's don't care or don't know anything. There are people in EVERY country that DO pay attention to WORLD NEWS and plenty that DO NOT!
And to say there are movies about American history, but not about other countries is WRONG - pure and simple. If you'd like to see MORE movies about other countries history... MAKE THEM!

This sounds like a problem with YOUR country then, NOT the USA. And I do get it. What YOU don't seem to get is that ONE reason so many countries know what goes on in the US is because people from just about every country have relatives here. I'm only a 2nd generation American myself. All of my grandparents came to the US from Sweden & Norway.
Stop assuming people in the US don't know what is going on elsewhere. That's a broad, narrow-minded assumption
